Kwang Lee grew up in South Korea. His hobbies include painting and assembling model cars and planes. He likes gardening and is a movie buff. He often enjoys watching two or three movies in a row and his favorites are war movies, westerns, or science fiction.
He began painting when his sister took him to her watercolor and Asian art classes. Eventually he developed his own painting style, primarily using scrap wood and acrylic paints as his supplies. He paints scenes from his childhood in Korea, as well as characters from children’s storybooks.
We have partnered with the OSLP Art and Culture Program to provide rotating art exhibits by local artists with disabilities.
The art is available for purchase with all proceeds going to the artist and OSLP.
